
Summer Yellowtail out at San Martin Island have been the mainstay this last couple weeks as the whiteseabass seemed to slow a bit due to colder water on the south coast seabass grounds. But warmer water hanging around Isla San Martin made for some fun yellowtail fishing with lots of other species to be caught as well. Yellows have been on Live-bait, iron and also on trolled rapalas. Theres alot of barracuda in the mix and some Exellent Calico bass fishing right now as well. Baitfish have been thick out on weather side of Isla so theres bee alot of action back there. Bait has been slow in the bay but very good out at island with lots of spanish and greenback macks.
Bluefin ! The bluefin have been sitting about 30 miles out but have been tough to find and slow to bite but the paddys can be very good with a mix of tuna, yellowtail and dorado as we enter September.
